At Royal Dream we always aim to provide accurate information for our travelers. Staffing: Services of Representatives, services of Egyptologists.
Transport: Private air-conditioned transport, private Nile cruise boat, first class sleeper train, horse drawn carriage, and donkeys.
Activities: Donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings.
Accommodation: 1 night tourist class hotels, 4 nights on board of 5 star cruise boat, 2 nights 1st class sleeper train.
Meals: As per itinerary (B- Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner). Breakfast is provided on every day of the tour, Please allow US$10-15 per day for additional meals.
Entrance Fees: Included for all sites listed as part of the itinerary. Egypt also has a wealth of other historical sites and museums which you may wish to visit. If you intend visiting a wide range of different sites you should allow up to approx. US$275 for this.
Tipping: To avoid embarrassment and save your money all tours operate a tipping kitty. Please allow US$18 - 27 per week of the tour for this.
Itinerary (7 nights / 8 days)
Day 1: Cairo
Meet & assist at the airport, and check into your hotel. (No meals)
Day 2: Cairo
See the treasures in the Egyptian Museum and visit the great Pyramids & Sphinx at Giza. Overnight sleeper train to Luxor. (BD)
Day 3: Luxor
Arrive in Luxor and transfer to our Nile Cruise boat. A few hours free to explore the town before an afternoon ride to Karnak temple by horse drawn carriage for a guided tour. Overnight Luxor. (BLD)
Day 4: Nile Cruise
Rising early we cross the Nile to ride donkeys to the Valley of the Kings. After lunch we set off on our cruise to Esna. Overnight Esna. (BLD)
Day 5: Esna – Edfu - Kom Ombo
We sail south to Edfu where we visit the temple of Horus before continuing our cruise to Kom Ombo where we visit this beautiful riverside temple. Overnight Kom Ombo. (BLD)
Day 6: Kom Ombo - Aswan
We journey to Aswan and on arrival the day is free to explore this beautiful town. (BLD)
Day 7: Aswan
This morning there is an opportunity to visit the famed temples of Abu Simbel. This afternoon we board the first class sleeper train for our return journey to Cairo. (BD)
Day 8: Cairo
Transfer to the hotel. Tour ends on arrival to the hotel (B)
